Acts 24
Acts 24:16
I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man.
May we always have a tender heart. If something is not right in our relationship with God, we should go talk with Him. This is called keeping our conscience clear. There’s nothing worse than soldiering through life with a conflicted conscience. Do yourself a favor and make it right. But did you hear what Paul said? We should do this with “both God and man.” So, if something is not right in our relationship with another person, guess what, we should go talk with them. I know there’s reasons not to, but, more often than not, it’s the best way to clear up a situation.
Do it humbly. Do it graciously. But please understand that nothing ever corrects itself by neglect.
