1 Corinthians 4
1 Corinthians 4:5
Do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart.
Everything that is whispered in the dark will one day be shouted on the roof top. So, if you are still in the dark, simply try to suspend your judgement. Especially when it comes to the motives of people. People’s motivations are sometimes cloaked in darkness. And to presume we know is often a farce. Therefore, stay neutral. Avoid assigning motive to action. Action only provides a small view of the big picture anyway. Let things be as they are and let them simply work out with time. If and when you need know, you will. But until then, try not to form an opinion. Give people the benefit of the doubt. And trust Jesus with the things that are now hidden from view.
