Revelation 13
Revelation 13:10
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
Sometimes life calls for endurance. The weather may not be fair. And the sun may not shine. The clouds may hang low. And the wind may blow against you. People may speak ill of you. And you might be infirm in body or mind. Your finances might be in tatters. And you cherished plans blown to heck. But the Scriptures issues to us a call for endurance.
And one of the best way to endure is to take refuge. Listen to the words of Psalm 57:1—
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,
for in you my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge,
till the storms of destruction pass by.
Storms don’t last forever. But the Rock of Ages will. Cling to Jesus today. And know that He is clinging to you. This too shall pass.
