Revelation 18
Revelation 18:4-5
Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues, for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
No one wants to be the odd man out, but sometimes, as a follower of Christ, that’s exactly what we’ll need to be. We don’t want to cause rift or upset friends and acquaintances, but it will likely happen once you remove yourself from the equation.
But you need to ask yourself a question. Who are you serving? People?
You can love people, but that doesn’t mean you need to serve them. Serve God alone and let the chips fall where they may. Who knows, your act of courage might just be the most loving thing that could ever happened to them.
