Isaiah 13-15

Daily Devotional from Isaiah 14--

Verse 1

For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and will set them in their own land, and sojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

God is faithful. He was faithful to restore Israel even after many betrayals. He promised to do it again, because His covenant with them was based off of His faithfulness, and not theirs.

Jesus is faithful. He did what He set out to do and because of His sacrifice and resurrection, we now enjoy the joys of salvation if we put our trust in Him. Sometimes the world can really get us down, but remember your God is faithful and will see you through. “And I am sure of this, that he who has began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). Rest in the work Christ is doing and will do in your life.
