Ezekiel 11-12
Daily Devotional from Ezekiel 12--
Verses 27-28
Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’ Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.
Throughout Scripture, there are many promises and prophecies made to God’s children. Some have already been fulfilled and some are yet to be.
As believers, we look forward to a promised inheritance of an eternal life of joy, peace and healed relationship with each other and our God.
Our Scripture today reminds me that we don’t need to wait until we die and go to heaven to start enjoying some of the benefits of our inheritance. As the father said to the complaining brother of the prodigal, “Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.” (Luke 15:31)
Take advantage of your relationship with God today. He wants you to! Expect answered prayer today! Expect a promise to be fulfilled today!
