Daily Devotional from Matthew 13--

Verse 17
For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

The prophets and the people who served God long awaited the coming of the Messiah. He was here standing in front of many and some believed and knew Jesus was really the Messiah. Now for us today we know who the Messiah is and we have access to his words! We have the complete Bible!

Oh how truly blessed we are to be saved and live where we can easily access God’s Word with little to no consequence. So many longed to know what we know. And still, there are spiritually starving people who don’t know, but Jesus has commissioned us to let them know the good news, that Jesus already came and our sins have already been covered, we are saved by grace through faith! Praise God He did this for us but it isn’t just for us, let someone know today!
