Luke 5

Daily Devotional from Luke 5--

Verse 20

And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”

Jesus saw the faith of the paralyzed man’s friends. He saw their desperation to get him to Jesus. And before He performed the miracle of healing, He forgave him of his sins.

I know that for many of us, we have friends and family we desperately want to see come to Jesus. Jesus sees your faith, and He hears your prayers. Keep on praying the Holy Spirit would open their eyes and keep on reaching out. Just like for the friends of the paralytic man, the miracle may not happen the way we think it will.

Remember that even though you cannot see it, He is working. Keep on trusting Jesus for your friends and family.
