Acts 13
Daily Devotional from Acts 13--
Verses 38-39
Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers and sisters, that through this man [Jesus] forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you. Everyone who believes is justified through him from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.
What good news! Paul, as a recent convert, is standing tall in the Synagogue and proclaiming the good news of Jesus. This same message that he shared with those in Antioch of Pisidia (both Jews and Gentiles) is the same good news that is for us today. After this, the word of God continued to spread throughout the world. It’s good news that transforms people—and that is the kind that spreads fast.
Through Jesus, you have been forgiven and justified before God. You have been made right through faith in him. It’s not through obedience—but faith and trust that the work is already done and that Jesus has covered you.
Trust in that today and let that message seep and marinate in your heart. And then let it spread to others.
