Romans 2
Daily Devotional from Romans 2--
Verse 1
Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
It’s easy to pass judgment, but it’s hard to give grace. I think we’ve all judged somebody—it feeds into a feeling of superiority, that we somehow are the moral officers—that we somehow have lived a perfect life.
Our Father has lavished immeasurable grace upon us, and yet—we still find ourselves looking at the speck in our brother or sister’s eye. When you feel tempted to judge somebody, remember the grace and love that Christ has shown you.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to help you show Christ’s love and grace in every interaction you have.
