Galatians 6
Daily Devotional from Galatians 6--
Verses 1 and 2
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
We all mess up and have flaws, so we need to be accountable to one another but we need to be gentle, not angry or pointing fingers. Wrong is wrong, this is true, and we shouldn’t sugarcoat it but love should speak louder than our judgment. We are spiritual people, us followers of Jesus. So let’s help one another out and when someone messes up, let's love them well so that they feel cared for and ultimately they do not walk away from the Church. We care for people as we help care for their relationship with Jesus. We get to fan one another's flame for Christ, so help out your brothers and sisters. Jesus calls us to bear with one another and help each other with carrying our burdens in this life so let’s listen, let's be patient, slow to anger, and slow to speak. Let’s walk in wisdom and love together as Christ intended.
