Verse 17
The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.
A recent question in our household: Can we put Neosporin on our dog’s wound?
One internet search found: “Neosporin is not safe for your dog and can cause vomiting and diarrhea.” Another search found: “Neosporin can be used to treat minor cuts in dogs, just like in humans.”
Which is it? This is where more knowledge must be gained and wisdom applied. You’ve probably noticed that everyone has an opinion about everything, and it can be tough to determine absolute truth when everyone wants to choose their own truth. God’s word is the only Truth that remains constant, and will remain, until the end of all things. Let's study it with an open mind and heart. Ask for Holy Spirit wisdom to apply it correctly, and measure all things by it.
PS: As long as the dog isn’t able to lick the Neosporin, it’s fine to use.
