Verse 11
The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places.
Do you ever feel like you’ve been scorched by life? Why does God let that happen?
Well, let’s put it this way: heat has a way of bringing out the right desires. After running a long distance under a scorching sun, you are going to be awfully thirsty. But probably not for a big Coca-Cola. You’re going to be thirsty for straight up water – the thing your body really wanted in the first place.
Oftentimes in life this will happen. The Lord will take you by the hand and give you what you most desire. And you will have never known it unless you were in the scorched places.
