Isaiah 65-66
Daily Devotional from Isaiah 65—
Verses 17-19
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy, and her people to be a gladness. I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress.
The day is coming soon, the day Jesus returns and He is going to make new heavens and a new earth. The day Jesus comes back will be a glorious day. No more sadness, strife, or pain, just joy, love, and peace amongst God’s people. I wonder what it will look like. Jesus loves us so much that one day He is coming back just for us. God makes good creations and the first time when He created the earth we messed it all up in the Garden of Eden but I believe this time there won’t be any room for the same mistakes. Because Jesus died for us, we as believers will get to experience this amazing new world.
