John 11
Daily Devotional from John 11--
In this passage we see the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus’ sisters each came to Jesus saying if He had only been there, their brother would not have died. They did not know what was to come.
Jesus responded to each of the sisters in their sorrow, was deeply moved and wept with them. In his love, he did what they had originally hoped, and their brother was alive again! How much more glorious this was! In so doing, more people believed and he revealed more of himself to the women and man he loved. He brought glory to God that they could plainly see.
Lord, help us to run to you and fall at your feet each time we are met with sorrows or circumstances we don’t understand. May we face our situations in faith believing that you are all powerful and ready to meet us where we are; that you are the answer to every need. Help us to trust that you will lead us through whatever we face and answer us in your time. Help us to say, “Yes, Lord, I believe!” every day in every challenge. Amen
