Verse 22
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
What does it mean to be set free from sin?
 It means that sin, with all of its layers, has no power over me. It has no control over me. It can’t make me do something I don’t want to do. It gives me freedom to
choose righteousness.
What does it mean to be a slave of God?
ï‚• It means that I am loved unconditionally. It means my Master, My Father, has taken the responsibility to provide for me, to care for me, to guide me, and to bring me to complete wholeness in Him. He also will allow, as King David said, “I will dwell in the house of the Lord foreverâ€. What an amazingly safe place to be.
Will you choose to be a slave to Jesus today? Choosing to be the slave of Jesus is the best thing that could ever happen to you.
