Revelation 10
Daily Devotional from Revelation 10--
Verses 5-7
And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.
There is nothing higher to swear by than God. God has continued to show himself true in every regard. Every word He has ever spoken has come to pass and it’s going to continue that way for all time. God is true and this is something we can be sure of. If our stocks are in God they are in good hands and we will not be let down. I’m glad the outcome of this world and evil is not hidden from us but it is revealed through God’s Word.
There is still mystery today: God has proclaimed things, prophecies have been said that we don’t fully understand, but one day we will. We at least know the end outcome and along the way God will reveal all things and we will find comfort and rest in His will.
